The Women's Coalition

Who We Are
The Organization
The Women's Coalition is striving for a future in which women have the power to maintain custody and protect our children after divorce.
We pursue our mission by raising awareness of the Custody Crisis and by agitating for a new system in which judges do not have the power to take and endanger our children.

The Leaders
Cindy Dumas, M.A. is the Founder and Executive Director of The Women's Coalition. She has been researching, writing, and raising awareness about the Custody Crisis since 2004, when she was forced to take her children into hiding to protect them from their molester father, because Family Court gave him custody.
Cindy's son, Damon, is our Communications Director. He was ordered by many judges over the course of his childhood to live with his sexually abusive father, despite Cindy's and Damon's own relentless efforts to protect him. Damon went into hiding himself at 14 and had to get married on paper at age 16 to escape the court's and his father's control. He has since attended UCLA, where he earned degrees in English and Communications.
