"I am in fear for my life and in imminent danger of my husband. I've been pushed, shoved, thrown down, choked, hit in the breast..."
Star to Family Court judge On Sunday, Star was stabbed to death by her ex in front of their son. Washington State Judge Carin Schienberg had denied Star’s pleas for protection for both herself and her son. Visitation with the documented-violent father and their 8 year-old son continued. Star had repeatedly told the judge she feared for her son’s and her lives. She related multiple violent incidents to the court dating back to at least 2017. Star told Judge Schienberg that her ex had threatened, hit and choked her multiple times. But, despite her repeated, credible reports of physical and emotional abuse over the course of many years, Judge Schienberg denied the requested Protective Order on the grounds there was “insufficient evidence”. “Insufficient evidence” is the go-to judicial finding to justify an order entitling and empowering the abusive father over “his” woman and children, often coupled with some way of discrediting the mother. The problem is clear: judges have too much power in deciding custody and visitation. There is great pressure from the patriarchal powers-that-be for them to keep men empowered and entitled in their family domain. Star’s son is going to suffer immensely due to Schienberg’s discriminatory ruling that led to the murder of his mother. She should be removed from the bench, however, getting rid of individual judges will do nothing to end the crisis. Women must unite and demand a new system. This is tragic and could've been avoided. Action is needed to change the system. When will women and children be heard. It's time we all take a stand for a new system that does not allow abuser continued rights to destroy lives.

I’ve been abused and tortured by family court judges rulings against me since 2015. The lies the discrimination the ability to conform to individual abusive members of my children a respective families due to money and connections. You’re right this will never stop until something happens! I fought for 2 years… all the while developing an addiction to alcohol and eventually substances to numb the trauma that I and my children endured (ptsd depression and anxiety) in order numb my pain by having my children ripped away from and ultimately from each other. .

In communicating with multiple hundreds of women every day and because there are no means to legally redress court issues... The only action any of us can do is move an act of congress to be heard or seen. IT'S ALL BAD!!!
