Judge “Essentially Allowed Son to Be Murdered”
“You essentially allowed my son to be murdered. You had proof in front of your eyes that Corey was in danger and ignored it. Shame on you.” Corey’s mother to Family Court Judge The day after Corey’s mother, Breanna, begged New Jersey Family Court Judge Patrick Bradshaw to protect her child, little six year-old Corey was killed. Breanna had dutifully brought Little Corey to the court-mandated visit with his abusive father at 9am and by 3pm that same day, Little Corey was dead. Judge Bradshaw had told Breanna there was “not enough evidence” of abuse, despite Corey telling doctors his father was hurting him, bruising on his body, and several reports to child protective services. Judges routinely rule that there is not enough evidence, even though a good, loving mother believes the father is abusive and there is corroborating evidence. So Breanna had to do what mothers everywhere, everyday in family courts around the world are forced against their will to do: obey an order which she knows endangers her child. Corey died of blunt force trauma to his heart and liver. The autopsy found previously healed internal injuries as well. Breanna had tried unsuccessfully for a long time to protect him. The father has pleaded not guilty, but Breanna contends, “I have no doubt in my mind that his father basically beat Corey to death.” The case is going to a grand jury. A criminal trial is surely upcoming. Watch this page for updates. RIP Little Corey; Condolences Protective Mom Breanna SHARE and comment in support of Breanna! I was the primary parent of my boys ages 6, 9 & 11 when Family Court gave SOLE custody to their father for no reason! The judge said father and I couldn't communicate. The father’s family is friends with attorneys and politicians.
This caused my younger children to be split from their older siblings and no one cared. I was given every other weekend and Wednesdays after school until 7:30 p.m. The father and his family attempted to alienate me and my family from the kids but thankfully were not successful. I have all 3 of my kids living with me since July as the two older ones moved in just before their 18th birthdays. My youngest is 15-1/2 and I got a call to pick him up from school as he was having a meltdown and his dad wouldn’t pick him up. He hasn’t gone back to his dad's to live. I’ll continue to pay child support just to stay out of the corrupt courtroom. Box 501956, San Diego, CA 92150 The Truth Is: There Is No “Protective Parent Dilemma”
The “Protective Parent's Dilemma” discussion panel is an offshoot of the excellent documentary “Allen v. Farrow”, but unfortunately, it is spreading misinformation about the Custody Crisis which is important to rebut and clarify. Allen v. Farrow is an eye-opening documentary that details the efforts of actress Mia Farrow to protect her daughter, Dylan, after she reported sexual abuse by her father, director Woody Allen. This panel, however, is portraying the Custody Crisis as a mere difficulty that both fathers and mothers encounter while attempting to protect their children in Family Court. That is far from the truth. The truth is: there is no mere “Dilemma” that “Parents” face. There is a Crisis devastating countless mothers and their children, not fathers. Judges are routinely switching custody from good, loving mothers to abusive and child-molesting fathers, not vice versa. In furtherance of this spin, moderator Kathleen Russell—founder of Center for Judicial Excellence, a gender-neutral Family Court reform organization—invited on the panel two fathers claiming the mothers of their children are abusive and alienating. (A quick google search casts doubt on at least one of them.) Russell brought on the panel only one protective mother and a friend of Mia’s, who admitted she doesn’t know much of anything about the Family Court “dilemma” that was the subject of her panel. Russell asks the two men to talk about how they were alienated from their children by the purportedly abusive mothers. This spins parental alienation to a gender-neutral issue as well, which clearly contradicts facts, evidence and the message in the documentary: that it is mothers like Mia who are being regularly falsely accused by judges of alienation after reporting child sexual abuse by the father. The two fathers complain about having had to spend a lot of money on their custody case. This is the position of the neo-fathers’ rights organizations, who claim the problem is family court officials profiting off both fathers and mothers. Russell has supported the fathers’ rights pseudo-documentary “Divorce Corp”, which asserts the problem in Family Court is gender-neutral profiteering. The solution proffered for this profiteering is the fathers’ rights main agenda: mandatory equal parenting laws, which are extremely harmful to women and children. So, some mothers who support the “cottage industry” explanation may be inadvertently supporting activism that harms them. Framing the Custody Crisis as a gender-neutral dilemma is not only inaccurate, it is incredibly damaging to women’s efforts to end the crisis. It confuses, diverts, and divides when it is vital for women to come together as women, as a class, in order to gain the power necessary to end the systemic male entitlement/discrimination causing the crisis. TWC NOTE: There have been two other panels so far, one focusing on perpetrator grooming and the other on parental alienation. Thankfully, neither portrayed the crisis as gender neutral, but there are some critical misconceptions which are important to identify. Watch this page for upcoming posts which will clarify.
